Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of monroecranerental.com (the "Site"), operated by Local Rental Network as Monroe Crane Rental ("we", "us"). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

Monroe Crane Rental is a free referral service. We receive requests for cranes and equipment and pass them to independent third-party crane operators and equipment rental providers ("Providers"). We are not a crane company or equipment rental company. We do not own, operate, inspect, maintain or supply any equipment, and we do not perform, supervise or control any work.

"Monroe Crane Rental" is the name of our referral service. It is not the name of a crane company, and no Provider is our agent, employee or representative. Providers may pay us for referrals.

2. Providers are independent

Providers are independent businesses, not our employees, agents or partners. All quotes, contracts and invoices are issued by the Provider directly to you, and any price, schedule, payment or service is solely between you and the Provider. Each Provider is solely responsible for its equipment, personnel, licenses, certifications, permits, safety practices, insurance and the quality and safety of its work.

We do not screen, verify, inspect, rate or endorse Providers, and any information we receive or pass along about a Provider is not a representation of its qualifications, licensing, insurance or safety record. We do not guarantee that any Provider will respond, provide a quote, be available, or meet your requirements, and we do not endorse or recommend any particular Provider. You are responsible for evaluating any Provider before hiring them, including confirming their insurance, certifications, references and qualifications, and requesting a certificate of insurance where appropriate.

3. Your information and requests

You agree to provide accurate information. When you submit a request, you authorize us to share it with Providers, who may contact you by phone, text message or email about your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit a request for someone else without their permission.

4. Information on the Site

Content on the Site, including descriptions of equipment, typical uses and factors that affect pricing, is general information only. It is not engineering, safety or professional advice and is not a substitute for a qualified operator's or engineer's assessment of your job. Equipment selection, lift planning and job safety are the responsibility of you and your Provider.

5. No warranties

THE SITE AND OUR REFERRAL SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY PROVIDER OR ANY WORK, EQUIPMENT OR SERVICE A PROVIDER SUPPLIES.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNERS, OFFICERS AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, DELAY, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY PROVIDER, ANY EQUIPMENT, ANY WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED, OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR OUR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Site, your dealings with any Provider, or your violation of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

Do not submit false, fraudulent or spam requests, interfere with the Site, or attempt to access it by automated means except as allowed by our robots.txt file.

9. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue the Site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
